Jerry Bridgers Receives First Annual Award Named in His Honor

At the MSRC Conference in Tunica on April 26-28, 2006, Jerry Bridgers was presented the first annual Jerry Bridgers Achievement Award, named in his honor. Jerry has been President of the MSRC four times, and Delegate to the AARC for many years. He is highly involved in the AARC's political action program. He is the director of biomedical services at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

The award reads:

"The Mississippi Society for Respiratory Care Recognizes and awards Jerry Bridgers
THE JERRY BRIDGERS ACHIEVEMENT
AWARD On this day of 27 April in the Year of our Lord, 2006, Presented for outstanding achievement to further the recognition and practice of Respiratory Therapy for the State of Mississippi"
